Munaco 1602 is an interbraid PTFE multifilament yarn packing that is impregnated with PTFE and a proprietary lubricant to make it softer and more flexible.  The material is inert and has a high compressive strength; in addition, it has a low coefficient of friction.  munaco 1602 can be used in applications where braided packing is used, in both static and dynamic conditions.  munaco 1602 is recommended for use in the severest applications including oxidizers and corrosives, except molten alkali metals.
