Munaco 1604 is an interbraid packing that is fabricated from a high tensile aramid fiber.  The packing is treated with a PTFE coating and a light inert oil.  munaco 1604's high strength makes it ideal for abrasive applications; moreover, it can be used in rotary, reciprocating, and centrifugal pumps as well as valves, agitators, and mixers.  munaco 1604 is recommended for general service, caustics, mild acids, chemicals, air, oil, gases, solvents, and general plant applications.
