Munaco 1672 is a braided, flexible graphite packing that has no binders, resins, or wire filaments.  It is resilient, compressible, and thermally conductive.  munaco 1672 provides universal service, long life, low maintenance, and leak free operation in most applications.  Graphbraid 1000 is self lubricating and eliminates shaft and stem wear.  munaco 1672 accommodates a wide range of temperatures and pressures and is fire safe and compatible with most fluid mediums.  It is recommended for use in pumps and valves in petrochemical/refining, hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power generation, chemical processing, and various other industrial applications.  munaco 1672 should not be used with fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, oleum, and fluorine.  Anti-extrusion rings are recommended in applications with excessive clearances, pressures, or worn equipment.
