Munaco 1673 is an interbraid packing that contains the highest quality, chemically resistant graphite yarns.  It possesses excellent heat dissipating qualities that make is ideal for high speed applications with minimum leakage.  The graphite yarn has a light weight that provides more length per pound than asbestos or PTFE packings.  munaco 1673 can be used on rotating and reciprocating shafts, valves, and agitators; furthermore, it is recommended for strong caustics, acids, chemicals, bleach, and slurries.  Munaco 1673 should not be used with fuming nitric acid, oleum, or flourine.
