Munaco 1674 is an interbraid GFO* fiber packing that features fine particles of graphite entrapped within an expanded PTFE.  Entrapment of graphite particles virtually prevents graphite migration while providing greater heat dissipation and a low coefficient of thermal expansion than pure PTFE.  munaco 1674 can be used on pumps, valves, reciprocating and rotating shafts, mixers, agitators, and other high speed applications; moreover, it is recommended for chemical applications compatible with PTFE and graphite.  munaco 1674 should not be used with molten alkali metals, fluorine, oleum, fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, and strong oxidizers.
